  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional for richer flavor)

Instructions

Step 1: Melt the butter

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent it from burning.

Step 2: Combine the ingredients

  • Add the Milo powder, cocoa powder (if using), and a pinch of salt to the melted butter.
  • Stir to form a smooth paste.

Step 3: Add the milk

  • Gradually pour in the whole milk while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well.

Step 4: Cook the sauce

  • Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

Step 5: Cool and serve

  • Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Use immediately or store in a jar for later use.
