Texas Roadhouse Salmon

Texas Roadhouse Salmon

Texas Roadhouse salmon is a signature dish featuring a grilled or baked salmon fillet seasoned with a savory spice rub and finished with a light honey or brown sugar glaze. The result is a smoky, slightly sweet, and flavorful seafood delight.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets: 4 (6 ounces each)
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper: ½ teaspoon
  • Brown sugar or honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley: 1 tablespoon, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Spice Rub

In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.

Heat the Skillet or Grill

Preheat a large non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and heat until shimmering.

Cook the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet or on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon starts to turn opaque. Flip carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.

Glaze the Salmon

In the last minute of cooking, drizzle the salmon with brown sugar or honey and a squeeze of lemon juice. Let the glaze caramelize slightly for added flavor.

Serve and Garnish

Transfer the salmon to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
