Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Rinse the cranberries and raspberries under cold water.
  • Zest and juice a fresh orange to prepare the orange components.

Step 2: Cook the cranberries and orange juice

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries and orange juice.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the cranberries start to burst, about 5 minutes.

Step 3: Add the raspberries and sugar

  • Stir in the raspberries and granulated sugar.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4: Add orange zest and optional cinnamon

  • Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
