2 large eggs – Light and fluffy base for the filling.
1 pre-cooked chicken sausage (sliced or crumbled) – Lean protein with savory flavors.
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese – Adds a creamy, melty texture.
1 tablespoon milk – Helps keep the eggs soft and creamy.
1 teaspoon butter or olive oil – For cooking the eggs.
1 large flour tortilla (burrito-sized) – The perfect wrap to hold all ingredients together.
For Seasoning:
¼ teaspoon salt – Enhances the overall flavors.
¼ teaspoon black pepper – Adds a mild kick.
¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional) – Adds extra depth to the eggs.
For Optional Additions:
¼ cup sautéed spinach – For added greens and nutrients.
¼ avocado (sliced) – Brings a creamy texture.
1 tablespoon salsa or hot sauce – For an extra kick.
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken Sausage
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or olive oil.
Add sliced or crumbled chicken sausage and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly crispy.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 2: Scramble the Eggs
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
Add butter to the same pan and pour in the egg mixture.
Stir gently over low heat for 2–3 minutes until soft and fully cooked. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Assemble the Wrap
Lay the flour tortilla flat and sprinkle half the cheese in the center.
Add the scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and remaining cheese.
If using spinach, avocado, or salsa, add them on top.
Step 4: Fold and Toast the Wrap
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly like a burrito.
Place the wrap seam-side down in a dry pan over medium heat and toast for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Let the wrap rest for 1 minute, then slice in half and serve warm.
